Step 2: NuAsia will reply if the product is under warranty & if it is covered based on manufacturer’s inspection standard. Here are the options based on our reply:
Product is under warranty period & NuAsia has determined the product is COVERED based on Manufacturer’s Incoming Inspection Standard (MIIS):
If the defect is reported within WITHIN 3 weeks of product arrival, then the good is considered Dead on Arrival (DOA). In such case, NuAsia will provide a RMA number and use NuAsia courie’s account to ship back the product. Go to Step 3.
If the defect is reported AFTER 3 weeks of product arrival, then the good is considered Warranty RMA. In such case, NuAsia will provide a RMA number and use CUSTOMER’S courier’s account to ship back the product. Go to Step 3.
Product out of warranty period. Customers has following options:
Withdraw the RMA request
Send product to NuAsia for paid service anyway. Once customer agree with NuAsia’s service charge, customer needs to send back the goods with CUSTOMER’s courier account. Go to Step 4a.
Note: warranty period differ case by case, customer and NuAsia must agree on warranty period when customer placed PO.
NuAsia determined that the customer’s claim falls outside of MIIS. Or NuAsia determined that the cause of defect was man-made. Customer has these following options:
Withdraw the RMA request
Send product to NuAsia for detail and manufacturer’s evaluation. Customer needs to send back the goods with CUSTOMER’s courier account. Go to Step 4a.
Step 3: Once the product arrive. NuAsia will reply with our own on-site inspection report typically within 7-14 days. If we cannot test the panel in house, we will inform with the confirmed date. Usually there are these scenarios:
NuAsia confirmed that the customer’s claims are within MIIS:
NuAsia will repair or replace the product. Typically replacement will be 7-10 days and repair will be 14-30 days. The returned goods will be sent back using NuAsia’s courier account. Customer must provide us with clear return invoice to avoid custom issues at their home countries. RMA case closed.
NuAsia will credit the parts due to lack of replacement. We will arrange credit through bank wire. RMA case closed.
NuAsia confirmed that the customer’s claims falls outside of MIIS. Customer should withdraw the RMA request. NuAsia can either send back the part via customer’s courier account or scrap the part. RMA case closed. M
FAQ & Answers
1. How do we know panel stocks at NuAsia offered are authentic?
We sent customers on stock photos when we can. When NuAsia offer panels from our vendors, we would secure the stock first and confirm it’s quality before we ask customer for payment. Customers are always protected knowing parts are REAL before sending bank wire. We are also open for in-person inspection prior to wire transfer as long as customer place PO and commit by sign back our pro-forma invoice.
2. How do we make payment to NuAsia for our purchased part?
NuAsia accepted bank wire and letter of credit (LC) only. We will ship parts after confirmed wire copy fax or e-mail. In the case of LC we will follow LC instruction accordingly.
3. Can we cancel purchase orders sent to NuAsia?
Once customer sign back our pro-forma invoice, the PO becomes NCNR. If customer still wishes to cancel, then this means the next time NuAsia will only secure stock after customer’s proof of payment.
4. Is there minimum order requirement (MOQ) required?
No unless certain parts are offered that way from our supplier. NuAsia’s own stock does not have minimum order requirement to buy.
5. What kind of warranty does NuAsia offer for their parts?
Since NuAsia is a reseller of TFT related components, our warranty period reflect our supplier’s. But on most new, on-going parts we can offer up to one year in warranty against electronic failures. Most EOL parts are offered up to 3 month warranty from NuAsia. Damaged and out of warranty parts are not covered under warranty but we offer repair service which we can offer with fee. Please refer to support section for how to apply for incase there is a failure in our product.
6. How long can I expect to received parts back from RMA?
Once NuAsia received the part, the RMA can be expected within 30 days. If we must send parts back to original manufacturer it will take longer.
7. Can we demand a refund instead of replacement part?
Customer can only get refund when replacements are not available. If ready replacement parts are available customer must accept replacement.
8. Does NuAsia provide Dead on Arrival (DOA) guarantee?
Yes. Customers have up to 3 weeks after received the part to confirm if parts conform to specification or inspection standard that customer/NuAsia have prior agreed.
9. Can NuAsia offer screening or testing service on parts sold?
Yes. We can test and screen parts from original manufacturer and provide only perfect panel (zero pixel) with an extra charge on most of the parts.
10. Will NuAsia ship all parts with serial number scanned?
If customer require serial number scanned, then NuAsia will have to open original seal for scanning. So NuAsia will not open boxed & scan for serial number without customer’s prior instruction to do so.
